Shore-based courses

A range of Royal Yachting Association (RYA) classroom based courses run at Westminster Boating Base in Pimlico.

Our courses include: Marine Radio SRC/VHF Courses, RYA First Aid and Dayskipper theory.

RYA First Aid

This one-day, shorebased RYA first aid course covers the core elements of first aid and includes water-related topics such as hypothermia and cold water shock.

It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. This course is MCA approved and satisfies the requirements for Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certificates of competence and some commercial work afloat.

Duration: 1 day 9.30am-5.30pm

Minimum age: 16 years

Price: £100 (reduced from £120)
