A Huge 24 Hours for Happy Doggo

Over the weekend, Happy Doggo founder and CEO Niall Harbison took on the ultimate test of endurance - running an incredible 120km over 24 hours to raise $1 million for the charity’s Tina’s Hospital project.

Around 200 supporters, friends and family joined Niall at the start, including some of the dogs Happy Doggo has helped to rehome. Celebrity supporters Gabby Allen, Kate Lawler and Kirsty Gallagher also joined the challenge, helping to keep the atmosphere going throughout the day and night.

As Niall approached the finish line, a further 200 supporters gathered to cheer him home and celebrate an incredible achievement.

The challenge attracted a huge online audience too, with the 24 hour YouTube livestream reaching around 200,000 viewers, with an average of 2,500 watching at any one time.

The fundraising total has now passed $1.4 million, smashing the original $1 million target and helping Happy Doggo move closer to its plans for Tina’s Hospital.

The event was particularly special as it marked Happy Doggo’s first event in London, attracting supporters from across the UK and as far afield as the US and Thailand.

We were delighted to play our part in such an inspiring event, while remaining open to our athletes and members throughout the challenge.
