Lee Valley Comic Con draws 800 Fans for a Day of Toys, Cosplay and Star Wars Guests

The first London Toy Shop event at Lee Valley Athletics Centre welcomed over 800 fans for a fun packed day of toys, collectibles and pop culture. 

Fans of all ages enjoyed browsing vintage toys, trading cards, comics, and movie memorabilia, while also meeting some very special guests from the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars fans were thrilled to meet Chris Bunn (original Stormtrooper), Jonathan Cass (ISB Officer from Andor), James Taylor (Kylo Ren stand in) and Ty Hurley (Imperial Fleet Trooper). Photo and autograph opportunities drew long queues.

The event featured a wide range of vendors selling vintage toys, Pokémon cards, Funko Pop! figures, comics, and more, alongside impressive cosplay and movie prop displays. The atmosphere was buzzing as collectors, families, and pop culture fans shared their passions.

The Lee Valley Comic Con and Card Show also showcased over 200 stalls with some of the UK’s top vintage toy and Pokémon dealers, special guest signings, cosplay experiences, movie props and a charity auction.

The success of the first London Toy Ship event proves it’s set to become a must-visit event for collectors and pop culture fans alike.
