New Dementia Hub launches at Birchwood Leisure Centre

A new Dementia Hub is launching at Birchwood Leisure Centre, offering a welcoming and friendly space for people living with dementia, as well as their carers and families.

GLL Healthwise and Country Court Care are working in collaboration to launch the new monthly hub, which will provide an opportunity for people to come together, socialise, meet others and take part in a range of activities in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The Dementia Hub will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, with the first session launching on Tuesday 6 October, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a cuppa, meet new people and get involved in the activities on offer.

Whether you are living with dementia, caring for someone, or supporting a family member, the Dementia Hub aims to create a friendly community where people can feel comfortable, connected and supported.
