The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea works in partnership with leisure operator GLL a charitable social enterprise to provide a wide range of sport and leisure facilities. This partnership is committed to delivering first class facilities that reach out to all sectors of the local community. We aim to assist and encourage local people to adopt a healthier lifestyle by providing a range of sport and leisure facilities, accessible and affordable to all.
Newly opened Kensington Leisure Centre provides state-of-the-art facilities, including a Sports Hall large enough to accommodate eight badminton courts, 120 station gym, 8 lane 25metre swimming pool, leisure pool and 20metre teaching pool. The centre is also home to a Better Coffee Corner and a Spa London facility, with treatments, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna on offer. Along with a busy group exercise programme which take place over three of the centre’s studios and regular Toddler’s World session there is something to get everyone active.
Chelsea Sports Centre has undergone recent renovation to improve the gym, group exercise and changing facilities. The centre boasts a high quality 100 station gym, two group exercise studios, 25metre swimming pool, 10metre teaching pool and outdoor floodlit astro-turf pitch suitable for football and tennis.
We are proud to host the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Active for Life programme at both facilities, which is a scheme committed to making healthy activity accessible to everyone.
