At Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre, our Junior Gym sessions are designed for children aged 11-17, allowing them to workout at designated times after school on weekdays, and on weekends.
Pre-booking is required. This can be done via the Better UK app, on the website or in person at the centre.
A member of staff will be present during the session to provide supervision, guidance, and advice on how to use the equipment safely and effectively, and also answer any questions.
Times Avaliable:-
Monday to Friday: 15:30- 18:30
Saturdays - 10:00- 12:00
Sunday - 10:00- 12:00

To ensure the safety of all junior members, we provide a Junior Gym induction led by one of our qualified fitness instructors.
During the induction we'll show them how to use the equipment safely and effectively, and how to perform exercises.
All juniors must attend an induction prior to their first Junior Gym session.
Our Junior Gym Inductions take place Monday to Friday from 15:30 - 18:30

Alongside our classes and sessions for under 18s, we also run adult and junior gym sessions where you can work out with your child. Like our other gym workout sessions, these give you and your child the chance to boost your fitness in the gym and use a range of equipment. While adults take full responsibility for any children aged 11-15 in these sessions, our expert Fitness Instructors can be on hand to support.

Junior gym is a supervised session where 11-17 year olds can access the gym and get active. Sessions take place after school and on weekends and are a great way to keep fit and make friends, as well as a way to build independence!
We run sessions at Arcadia five days a week, meaning there are plenty of opportunities to keep active. To view session days and times, use the link below!
JUNIOR GYM SESSIONSBefore starting their programme, all our junior members must attend a gym induction. This includes a demonstration on how to use the equipment safely, show correct form as well as an opportunity to discuss your goals.
Please note, a parent or guardian must attend the induction to complete our pre-activity readiness questionaire on behalf of the member
