Junior Membership

The Junior Membership is a monthly membership for those aged between 11 - 17. This membership provides access to a range of different activities across all of our centres in Manchester that are suitable for everyone.

If you're looking for a way your junior can stay active, socialise and build confidence in a safe and supportive enfiroment, then Arcadia Leisure Centre is the place for you:

Junior Gym

Junior Gym is suitable for those aged between 11 - 17. Our Junior Gym sessions are based in the programmable gym, with a Fitness Instructor available at all times for any questions you may have.

Please ensure you complete a Junior Gym Induction with our Fitness Instructor before attending your first gym session. 

Junior Gym Times:

Monday - Friday: 15:30 - 18:30
Saturdays & Sundays - 10:00 - 16:00

Adult & Junior Gym

Adult & Junior Gym provides an option for Juniors aged between 11 - 17 to attend the gym outside of Junior Gym sessions with a parent or guardian. 

Both adult and junior must book into this session.

Adult & Junior Gym Times:

Monday - Friday: 18:00-19:00

Swimming Sessions

Swim for All is a generic swimming session for all ages and abilities. We have availability throughout the week and during the weekends for this session.

  • A competent adult (16+ yrs) swimmer may supervise up to 2 under 8's or non-swimmers (under 16) at a time. 

Family Fun Swim is a family oriented session for families to enjoy spending time together. You can book onto this session individually, however be mindful that under 5's can attend this session. We have availability throughout the week and during the weekends for this session.

  • A competent adult (16+ yrs) swimmer may supervise up to 2 under 8's or non-swimmers (under 16) at a time.

The Better Swim School

We are the largest provider of swimming lessons across the UK. Across the country, we help over 100,000 people learn to love the water and keep active, by becoming capable and confident swimmers. You will find the Better Swim School here at Arcadia Leisure Centre.

Help your child begin a healthy routine now and it could help them stay fit long into the future. Our Junior membership is designed to help youngsters get off to a great start, at a competitive price. Your child will enjoy access to all Manchester Swimming Pools and Junior Gym sessions.

Our Junior Gym sessions take place throughout the week and weekends on the following days:

Monday to Friday: 15:30 - 18:30
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00
