Manchester Regional Arena was developed from the original 2002 Commonwealth Games warm up track. It boasts an eight lane 400m track with covered seating for 6,500 spectators. The arena regularly accommodates school and community events and is open for use by the public. A number of local athletics clubs also operate from the venue. 

The Outdoor Track will remain open throughout our refurbishment - sessions must be pre-booked.

Our cafe at the National Squash Centre & Regional Arena

Our brand new strength & conditioning gym has had a full refurbishment with brand new state of the art kit installed and is now available to hire. There is limited availability so please email nsc@gll.org for more information and to book.

The indoor athletics hall has a 200m banked running track and a six lane 60m sprint track. Specially designed nets cater for throw events and there are also facilities for pole vault, high jump and long jump.

The central area of the hall is marked for badminton, basketball and netball and is widely used by the community during school holidays. The hall is also available to hire for use during an event, for enquiries, use the link below

We provide six squash courts that can convert from singles to doubles courts at the touch of a button along with our glass walled court and bowled seating area.
