We're making your centre even better

We're pleased to announce that the gym at East End Pool in Newcastle is about to get a major upgrade in November 2025.

We’ll be introducing brand-new cardio and fixed resistance gym equipment, giving you the very best tools to reach your fitness goals.

And that’s not all - one of our current studios will be transformed into a brand-new group cycle studio, featuring state-of-the-art Technogym bikes for the ultimate ride experience.

Cardio

You'll be able to take your cardio workouts to the next level with our wide range of Technogym equipment. Whether you prefer treadmills, cross-trainers, bikes, rowers, or stair climbers, you’ll find everything you need for an unbeatable fitness experience.

Fixed resistance

You’ll also be able to tone and strengthen your body with our upgraded range of Technogym resistance equipment, featuring everything from chest and shoulder presses to cable crossovers, abdominal crunches, low rows, leg curls, leg extensions, leg presses and more - giving you everything you need for a complete full-body workout.

Group Cycle Studio

Get ready to pedal your way to a healthier you in our soon-to-open group cycle studio. With high-spec Technogym bikes, surround sound, and dynamic LED lighting, every ride will be an energising and immersive workout experience.

Disruption to service

The upgrade is expected to take place in the first week of November and during this time there will be a temporary closure of the gym from Monday 3rd November - Tuesday 4th November.

Fitness classes in the studio will continue to take place as normal. The swimming pool will also remain open.

During these works, everyone will have a membership upgrade to include all leisure centres across Newcastle so you can continue your healthy routine at another gym in the area. Check our your local leisure centre.
