At Thame Leisure Centre, we offer access to two great pools:
Our 25‑metre fitness pool offers up to five lanes for lane swimming, training, and general exercise with convenient poolside access from the changing room, while our toddler pool—designed especially for young children—features a small slide and playful water features ideal for little ones aged 5 and under to explore, play, and build water confidence.
Swim Safety & Hygiene Rules:
To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for everyone, please follow the swim safety and hygiene guidelines below:
- Shower thoroughly from top to toe with soap before entering the pool to remove deodorant, cosmetics, and perspiration.
- Use the toilet before your swim and wash your hands thoroughly with soap.
- Babies must wear tight‑fitting waterproof baby trunks, not nappies, while swimming.
- Dispose of nappies, trunks, and sanitary products in the designated bins provided.
- Avoid swimming if you have eaten a large meal within the last two hours.
- Never swim under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Do not swim if you currently have a cold or flu.
- Do not swim if you have experienced food poisoning or diarrhoea within the last 14 days.
These rules help us maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety across our pools.
