GLL is currently looking for Library Assistants to join our flexible worker bank in the London Borough of Bromley. You could work in any of the libraries across the Borough. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Library Assistant there's never been a more exciting time to join us.
What you will do:
- Work as part of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the library.
- Work in different libraries across the Borough.
- Provide warm welcome and genuine service to all customers, providing guidance and support on how to get the optimum results from their visit.
- Fully participate in and engage in the any training provided.
- Support and deliver library activities for children and adults.
- Assist customers with IT.
What you need:
- Experience working within the libraries or a customer facing role.
- Evidence of making a difference to customers.
- Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
- A real focus on customer service.
- Passion and personality.
- Be a great team player.
