During the Easter holidays, Bromley libraries hop to provide a fun and engaging two weeks of varied, Easter-themed activities for children and adults alike. Continue reading this list below to learn what we've got going on, and how you can take part!

Please be aware, all Bromley Borough libraries in the borough will be closed on Good Friday (April 3rd) and Easter Monday (April 6th).

Saturday 28 March 2026 
  • All-Day Drop-in Craft! at Hayes Library. Beat the boredom this school holiday with our drop-in craft sessions! Pop by the library for Spring and Easter-themed paper crafts - and maybe read a book or two as well. From 09:30 to 17:00. Suitable for children aged 18 months to 11 Years.   • Easter Craft at Burnt Ash Library. Make a lovely Easter craft to take home, from 14:30 to 15:30. Suitable for children aged 3 to 10. No booking required
Monday 30 March 2026 
  • Baby Bounce at Mottingham Library, from 10:00 to 10:30. Suitable for children aged preschool age. No booking required.
  • Stories & Craft at Mottingham Library, from 15:45 to 16:30. Suitable for children aged 4-8 years. No booking required.
  • Easter Stories & Craft at Beckenham Library. Stories, songs and and Easter craft to take home, from 10:30 to 11:30. Suitable for children aged 4-8 years. Booking Essential! - Contact Beckenham Library staff to book!
  • Pop In Playtime at Chislehurst Library. Toys and colouring, from 09:30 to 10:30. Suitable for children aged under 4 yrs. No booking required.

  • Easter Craft and Colouring at Chislehurst Library. Simple craft and colouring, from 10:00 to 11:00. Suitable for children aged 18 months to 7 , Family. No booking required.

  • Easter Storytime and Craft at Penge Library. Listen to an Easter Bunny tale and create an egg to display, from 14:30 to 15:30. Suitable for children aged 4-8yrs. No booking required.
  • Family Fun at St Pauls Cray Library. Easter Craft Session, from 10:00 to 12:00. Suitable for Families. No booking required.
Wednesday 1 April 2026

Thursday 2 April 2026

  • Coffee Morning & Talk at St Pauls Cray Library. A bridge, a brewery & Maggie Blake's cause. A virtual walk around Shad Thames, from 11:30 to 12:45. Suitable for Adults. No booking required.
