Home library service
Unable to get to the library? Our mobile library service will come to you once a month. Take your pick from a wide selection of books (including large print), DVDs, videos and talking books on CD or cassette for all ages. We'll ask you for the type of books and items you like, and use this as a guide for selecting your preferred library items. You can also use the mobile library on a temporary basis if needed.
With full disabled access, the mobile library service may also visit schools, nurseries, play centres, and other sites by appointment. Find out what's available near you and register your interest by selecting your local library.

How long can I borrow books for?
If you live at home or in residential care, you can borrow unlimited items, and have them collected or renewed up to every four weeks. Collections for a residential care home, group, or day centre, can be arranged on a four-week schedule.* You can also use the inter-library lending service if needed.
*This depends on where you live. Please check your local area for more information.
