Free and Discounted Swimming
Did you know that with a FAB Card (which is free for all residents to register) children aged 8 and under can swim for FREE and 8 – 15-year-olds swim for £1* across any of the Better operated pools. *Available Monday – Saturday during public holidays.
Young carers and those who are care experienced also benefit from free swimming with a FAB Card at any time.

Junior Activities at your local Better leisure centre
There are five leisure centres across Barnet that are operated by Better and offer a range of activities and facilities to support juniors on their physical activity journey. There's dedicated Junior Gym sessions, fitness classes and swims.

London Youth Games provides opportunities for children and young people to participate in sporting competitions and compete against other London boroughs.
Unitas Youth Zone
A vibrant, purpose-built space where sport and physical activity sit alongside creative arts, music, and personal development opportunities—for young people aged 8–19, and up to 25 with disabilities.
With over 20 activities every day, from football and fitness to dance, drama, and music, there’s something for everyone.
Membership is just £5 a year and 50p per visit, making it accessible to all.

Joe Wicks’ new Activate series is a free, animated workout programme designed to get children moving through fun, five-minute exercise challenges. The series is available on his official YouTube channel and the BBC iPlayer.
