Silver Sunday 5th October 2025
Silver Sunday, that coincides with first Sunday of October, is becoming one of the most popular celebrations in UK. Launched years ago, as a local campaign to tackle loneliness and isolation, is now nationally recognised. Silver Sunday is the celebration of our elderly and of the precious contribution that they give to the society.
This year the London Borough of Barnet is celebrating the year of the elderly and as such are holding an exciting event that will take place Sunday the 5th October, at Middlesex University, in Hendon.
The event, organised by Age UK in partnership with FAB and other local organisation, will be an opportunity for our residents to meet, build new relationships and to enjoy the day to discover what Barnet can offer terms of services and activities.
Join us for a fabulous day of fun at Middlesex University to celebrate ageing well in Barnet!
