International Week for Disabled People
International Day for Disabled People is on the 3rd December 2025 and recognises visible and invisible disabilities to promote the importance of inclusion in life and the workplace.
To mark this important celebration, FAB (Fit and Active Barnet) and partners have extended the International Day into a full week full of activities!
From the 1st to the 9th December, local sports providers will open their doors to offer free inclusive sessions in basketball, squash, cricket, swimming, and more.

The main event will be hosted by Unitas Youth Zone in collaboration with all FAB partners. This celebration will bring together residents from across the community, creating a welcoming space to connect, build new relationships, and strengthen local networks.
Guests will have the chance to take part in a variety of sport taster sessions, hands-on workshops, and engaging performances suitable for all ages. The event will also showcase the wide range of services, opportunities, and support available in Barnet, helping residents discover what the borough has to offer and how they can get involved.
Dance Barnet
Following the incredible success of Dance Barnet 2024, we’re thrilled to announce that this inspiring event is returning in 2026!
Made possible through a funding award from the Sport England Movement Fund, working in partnership with Step Change Studios again, Dance Barnet 2026 promises to be even bigger and better, with the finals event scheduled for Friday 27th February at the artsdepot Finchley.

Sensory Dance Workshops
Join us for our Sensory Dance Workshops!
Come and explore movement, rhythm, and creativity in our inclusive sensory dance sessions, held on Sundays (monthly) from 10:30am to 11:30am. These workshops are designed to be welcoming, engaging, and supportive for young people of all abilities.
