Aquanatal is a water based class. Water is a good place for pregnant women to exercise safely as, due to the buoyancy of the water, there is a lack of stress placed on the joints and a feeling of weightlessness whilst exercising with your bump. However, the coolness of the pool may make you forget that you are working hard and you need to remember to stay well hydrated. This form of exercise helps to develop mother and baby’s heart and lungs and the water resistance helps your body to get stronger and more flexible.
