Sprints

Take to the starting blocks and make the most of the Mondo surfaces on the indoor track that offer uniform dynamic response and complete control for athletes over stride, rhythm, and balance. Sprinters can take advantage of the indoor 60m, 130m and 200m tracks. Outside we offer an all weather 400m circuit where athletes can train for anything from 100m up to longer distances.

Hurdles

Take to the sprint hurdles allowing you to train from 70m with spacings and markings up to 400m all the, suitable for all ages and abilities. Drive your lead leg over our Cantabrian training hurdles, whether that's going over a full set or practising technique with drills.

Long Jump, Triple Jump

Take to our nine-metre sand-based pits and practise your run ups using our 7, 9, 11 and 13 metre take-off boards, providing the ideal environment to develop your technique and consistency. Whether you're refining your long jump or triple jump, our dedicated facilities allow athletes of all levels to train effectively, build confidence in competition conditions and maximise performance throughout every phase of the jump.

Pole Vault

Get to grips with Olympic standard pole vault beds, master your take off with our 45 metre run ups in a state of the art athletics facility. Please note, you’ll need to bring your own poles.

Discus and Hammer Throws

We have indoor discus and hammer throws areas available throughout the year to allow all weather training that also includes accessible use for seated throwers. Weights vary from 0.75 kg up to 2kg for discus, and hammers range from 2.72 kg to 7.26 kg.

Javelin

Perfect your javelin throws with our 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 gram weighted javelins with our Olympic standard run up areas. During the summer months, we'll have marked out competition grade arc and sector lines with 20, 40, 60 and 80 metres on the infield area.

Shot Putt

Master the shot putt with our indoor and outdoor areas with shotputs weighing from 2.72 kg to 7.26 kgs allowing you to make the most of a full range of competition weighted shot puts, available for both internal and external use. Sector lines allow you to throw up to 20 metres indoors and over 20 metres outdoors in an Olympic grade shot putt area.

High Jump

Make the most of our outdoor and two indoor Olympic standard competition beds dedicated to high jump, with spacious fan areas allowing you to perfect your run-ups and approach technique. Designed for athletes of all levels, these specialist facilities provide the ideal environment for technical training, skill development and competition preparation.
