Sunday 9 October 2022 - Run the River 10k

On Sunday 9 October, join Edmonton Running Club and take on a 10k route through the beautiful Lee Valley Park, finishing with a lap of the Outdoor track at Lee Valley Athletics Centre.

Formed in 1981 Edmonton Running Club are an inclusive, enthusiastic community who are passionate runners. Be it for the fitness or camaraderie. They are based in Hazelwood Sports Club in Winchmore Hill, Enfield and have organised this fantastic 10km race. which both starts and finishes at Lee Valley Athletics Centre.

This is an ideal opportunity to enjoy a flat, fast 10K race. It takes you off road and along the banks of the River Lee and around Tottenham Marshes. It's chipped timed with all times published on Run Britain so you can work on those PBs. All finishers get a technical t-shirt and goody bag, with trophies for overall men’s and women’s winner, runners-up and third place finishers as well as age category winners.

A beginner- friendly course, it takes you off road and along the banks of the River Lee and around Tottenham Marshes. This race is a great run for all abilities - the course is a mixture of terrain – road, tow path, a small section of grass and running track. There is even a water station at the 5km mark and at the end of the course to make sure you stay hydrated. A course map is available by clicking here
