The Plumstead Centre on Plumstead High Street combines fitness, courts, Plumstead Library and community space in one beautifully restored Grade II-listed building. Our gym has free weights and cardio machines, while the group cycle studio and exercise spaces host yoga, Pilates, barre, strength and conditioning, circuits, boxfit and dance fitness classes. The indoor courts are busy with badminton and pickleball sessions, and there's soft play for younger visitors. We run children's programmes including performing arts tuition in dance, drama and music, plus birthday parties for celebrations. Older adults join our calm and mindfulness sessions, and we support health programmes through GP referral. Plumstead Library, with its striking "book mountain" reading space, children's and adult collections, and study areas, sits right at the heart of it all.
