Cardio area

Our Cardio area at Glass Mill Leisure Centre has been fitted with top of the range Life Fitness equipment to ensure that you are able to get a varied cardiovascular workout each time you visit us.  The gym also has inclusive equipment to ensure all needs are catered for.

We offer the following machines in our Cardio area:

Functional area

We know that when it comes to using the gym our customers like to have a space where they can mix up there training with different exercises. The functional training zone contains a variety of equipment that works all muscles of the body giving you an all round functional training experience. Within this space at Glass Mill we the following range of equipment available:

  • Synergy 360
  • Kettlebells
  • Medicine Balls
  • Dip bar
  • Battle Ropes
  • Core bags
  • Power plate
  • Tyre
  • Weight sled and sled
  • Plyometric boxes

Strength area

The strength area at Glass Mill has been kitted out with Hammer strength dumbbells that start at 2kg and go all the way to 50kg. The strength area also has a variety of Olympic bars and plates.

Resistance area

To compliment our cardio area, we have a large fixed resistance area that has a full range of state-of the art Life Fitness equipment to help you improve your strength and help you tone up. Each machine is fully adjustable to ensure each user is comfortable when using it.

Some of the cardio equipment comes with interactive capabilities meaning you can walk through a grand canyon or national parks from around the world from your screen. Did you know you can automatically connect your Apple or Samsung watch and the activity will be saved onto your device? The machines are also connected to the internet allowing you to access your own social media and Netflix accounts. These added extras will make exercise more enjoyable and means you don’t have to miss your favourite show.
