Staying motivated can always be a challenge, but with a wide variety of virtual and instructor led fitness classes available here at Fulwood Leisure Centre, you'll find the perfect way to keep active.
Whatever you are looking to achieve we have classes for the whole community, from our standard fitness classes to classes specially for an older adults, we’ve got something to suit everyone.
Don't forget you can book classes online. Members can book 6 days and 10 hours in advance, non members 5 days in advance.
Lapping the pool is not the only way to get a workout in the water. Why not try something new with our water workouts. Combining aqua aerobics with strength and conditioning moves, a workout in the water will get your heart pumping without putting pressure on joints. Our Water Workout classes are available on Wednesday at 19.05pm.
Junior Fitness Classes
Junior fitness classes take place during the Junior gym sessions and are tailored to junior participants. These short 20-30 minute fitness classes are led by our Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructors and take place on the gym floor during the afternoon junior gym times. Fitness classes will include:
- Strength and Conditioning - Strengthen and condition your whole body in one of our Junior Strength & Conditioning classes. These classes are a combination of strength and conditioning activities that could include Circuit Training and Body Conditioning in one class.
- Mind and Body - Feel better inside and out in one of our Junior Mind & Body classes. Build your strength and flexibility in these lower-impact classes which incorporate Pilates and Yoga in one class. These classes will leave you feeling calm and revived.
