You do not need to be techy to help young children at our code clubs. It mostly involves helping children to read and follow instructions. We can offer free training, resources and support. You can also arrange to drop into one of our clubs to see what they are like, before you decide to volunteer.
Can you help people take the first steps to using a computer with confidence or to help them find information that is available online? If you enjoy helping people, have reasonable computer skills, and a patient manner, then you are just the person we are looking for. You will be available in libraries at regular times (at least one session am or pm per week), so that people seeking help can book a time slot with you.
