All of our libraries have a selection of local history books for loan. Lending copies of local history books can be reserved online through our catalogue and collected from any Lincolnshire library.
Lincoln Central Library holds the major local studies reference collection for the County of Lincolnshire. A number of our larger libraries also have Local Studies resources covering the history of their local area for reference use. An overview of sites’ holdings can be found on their Facilities and Services page.

Lincolnshire library members can access the UK's largest family history site for free. (Please note: this can only be accessed in the library.)
