Local and family history in Lincolnshire

Want to take a trip down memory lane? Discover our local and family history resources and dive into the past.

All of our libraries have a selection of local history books for loan. Lending copies of local history books can be reserved online through our catalogue and collected from any Lincolnshire library.

Lincoln Central Library holds the major local studies reference collection for the County of Lincolnshire. A number of our larger libraries also have Local Studies resources covering the history of their local area for reference use.
