Adult Activities at Petts Wood Library

From culture to courses, we have a broad and varied programme of activities for adults, including

Craft and Chat | Mondays (weekly) | 2pm – 3.45pm

Bring along your knitting, crocheting, quilting or any other craft project and talk to like minded people & exchange tips and tricks, refreshments provided, book your free place in advance.

Hard of hearing club | First tuesday of the month| 11.00-12.00

Join us and share experiences over a cup of coffee.The progrmme may include arts & crafts,games,quizzes,readings,talks,practising or learning basic sign language etc.Please contact the library for more information.

Adult reading group | Third Thursday of the month | 6.30-7.30pm

If you would like to read something different and meet other readers to chat about a variety of specially selected books, then why not join us? Our groups are open to anyone who loves reading. The library provides copies of a chosen book which members take away and come back to discuss the following month. Standard charge £20/year. For more information please contact the library.

Tea time talks | Fridays(monthly) | 2.15-3.15pm

An afternoon group with a different speaker each month. Cost £1 per ticket refreshments provided. Tickets need to be purchased in advance. Please contact the library for more information.

 

Newspapers, Coffee and Chat | Saturdays (weekly) | 9.30-10.30am

Come along and chat about the news of the week over a cup of coffee.
