Hot Weather and Cool Spaces
During periods of hot weather, residents and visitors can access free drinking water and a cooler place to rest at our local libraries. These spaces are available for anyone who may need to sit quietly, cool down, and ask staff for drinking water. We encourage you to use facilities close to where you are and to avoid travelling too far, especially in extreme heat. Please note that our libraries are not medical facilities; if you feel unwell or require medical attention, you should seek appropriate health advice.

Further information on cool spaces across London can be found on the London City Hall website.
