Summer Reading Challenge

Pop into your nearest Greenwich Library with your grown-up and ask to join the Summer Reading Challenge. If you don’t have a library card (or have misplaced it), no problem – we just need to see proof of a parent or guardian’s name and address to sign you up.

Teen Reading Challenge

The Teen Reading Challenge 2025 invites teens to complete five reading-related tasks over the summer, from July 5 to September 22. Participants must read a classic book, a non-fiction book, a magazine or newspaper, and a digital book (eBook or audiobook), then write a short three-sentence summary or recommendation of a book to be featured on the Greenwich Libraries website. Teens who complete all steps and notify library staff will receive a £10 Love2Shop voucher as a reward
