Lee Valley VeloPark celebrates 10 Years of cycling fun!
Lee Valley VeloPark hit a big milestone this weekend – it's been 10 years since we first opened! To mark the occasion, we opened our doors to everyone on Saturday 6 April 2024 with exclusive offers on our exciting activities.
The event was buzzing with excitement! Did you make it down?
We were excited to welcome our partners at Bikeworks had a stall showing off all ability bikes, Bike Fit Foundation were offering free shoe fittings and had partners such as UNIT2 custom bikes, Spoon Customs, Enve Composites, and Saddleback Ltd among others showing off cool bike demos outside on the road cycling track and we welcomed London Loves Cycling who had a cool selfie booth for people to show off their love of cycling in the city.
It was great to see new and old faces having a blast riding around the velodrome during the track cycling sessions, including Velodrome Flying Lap and Velodrome Tasters we had on offer and were jam packed throughout the day. It was also great to see youngsters having lots of fun with activities like VeloBalance and Pedal Up, keeping them busy in the saddle.
