Whether you or your child is stepping onto a balance bike for the first time or looking to master BMX, MTB, Road or Track cycling, our brand new Learn to Cycle Programme is designed to help aspiring cyclists grow in skill, confidence and love for the sport.

From the first time on two wheels to racing confidently in a group, our progressive pathway takes juniors and adults on an exciting journey through the core cycling disciplines - all in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

Why join the Learn to Cycle programme?

  • Tailored to ability and age - sessions start from 18 months, progressing right up to competitive race skills
  • Structured progression - clear skill goals at every stage, so riders can see and celebrate their improvement
  • All round development - balance, coordination, road safety, bike handling, tactics and even sportsmanship
  • Cross discipline experience - explore BMX, mountain biking, road cycling and velodrome track riding

The Pathway

  • Foundation (Ages 18 months+) - Learn balance, steering, gliding, braking and first pedals
  • Development (Ages 6+) - Explore BMX, MTB, Road or Track with progressive skill goals in each discipline, from jumping and cornering to race tactics and group riding
  • Academy (Ages 10+) - Specialise in BMX, MTB, Road or Track with competitive racing and club progression pathways

By the end of the programme, riders don’t just leave with great bike skills - they leave with resilience, awareness, and the confidence to ride anywhere.
