Inclusive Swimming Session
Every Sunday from 3:00pm to 4:30pm, we run a welcoming inclusive swimming session for young people and adults with additional needs and disabilities.
With reduced pool capacity and lower noise levels, the session offers a calmer and more comfortable environment for swimmers to enjoy the pool.
Sessions can be booked individually or accessed as part of a our BETTER memberships.
Inclusive Gym Session
Our inclusive gym sessions run every Thursday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, providing a welcoming space for adults and young people with additional needs and disabilities to exercise together.
A dedicated fitness instructor will be available to offer support, helping participants stay active, build confidence, and enjoy their workout in a friendly environment.
Sessions can be booked individually or accessed as part of our Better HF memberships.
Parkinson's Sessions
Southbury Leisure Centre offers a range of friendly and supportive sessions for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Our sessions are designed to help participants stay active, improve confidence, and enjoy the benefits of regular movement in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you are looking to take part in gentle exercise or enjoy a social activity, our programme provides a supportive space to move at your own pace.

Every Tuesday, 2pm-3.30pm
Table tennis is a fun and sociable way to stay active, helping to support coordination, balance, and movement.
Chair-Based Exercise
Every Friday, 1.30pm-2.30pm
Chair-based exercise offers a gentle and accessible way to move, with activities that can help support strength, flexibility, and confidence.
Sessions can be booked individually or accessed as part of a Better HF membership.

SEND Swimming Lessons
Southbury Leisure Centre offers SEND swimming lessons for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Our lessons are designed to help participants build water confidence, develop swimming skills, and enjoy being active in a supportive and inclusive environment. With guidance from our swimming teachers, each session provides a welcoming space for swimmers to learn at their own pace.

Each lesson is 30 minutes long.
These lessons provide a calm and supportive setting for swimmers to develop confidence in the water and improve their swimming ability.
Sunday Swimming Lessons
Every Sunday, between 3pm and 4pm
Each lesson is 30 minutes long.
Sunday lessons offer another opportunity for swimmers to take part, practise their skills, and enjoy time in the pool.
An adult is required to be in the water with each participant during the lesson.
