Pickleball is a fast growing, fun racquet sport that everyone can enjoy. Combining elements of table tennis, tennis, and badminton, pickleball is perfect for all ages and abilities and is both social and energetic. Our pickleball sessions are designed for all skill levels, offering a mix of strategy, fitness, and social interaction that’s tough to beat.
Pickleball social sessions
Looking for a fun, social way to stay active? Our Social Pickleball Sessions are the perfect way to get moving, meet new people and enjoy this exciting, easy to learn sport. Sessions are facilitated by a trained Sports Activator, who’s there to support all abilities and keep the games flowing - whether you're a beginner or already hooked on Pickleball.
We offer pickleball group sessions run on Tuesday's from 11:00 - 13:00 and Friday's at 18:00 - 20:00 at Lee Valley VeloPark.
Admission: From £12.50 for members
Equipment Needed: Provided by the centre
Pickleball Court Hire
At Lee Valley VeloPark we offer bookable Pickleball courts for you to bring others with you to give this great sport a go. These sessions can be booked online or on the Better UK app.
Please note, there is a maximum capacity of 4 people per hour, per court.
Additional guests/ Children are not permitted to wait on the courts. We do not allow swap overs. Additional guests may watch from concourse seating area.
Prices: From £18.90 for off peak bookings and from £23.60 for peak bookings
Equipment Needed: Raquet and balls hire is £2 per person.
Memberships: Selected memberships allows 1 court allowance per month and a racquet allowance per booking. Please read indivual memberships for court allowance.
Pickleball Drop in sessions
Want to play Pickleball at your own pace? Our Drop in sessions are a great way to get on court, practise your skills, and enjoy the game in a relaxed, informal setting.
These sessions are not facilitated, so players are free to organise games themselves – perfect for those who already know the basics or want a more flexible, casual experience.
Pickleball League
Why not join a Pickleball League with Picklemania? Picklemania is a digital league platform designed to support the growth of pickleball by connecting players, clubs and venues. Picklemania helps create a structured and engaged pickleball community around those activities. It supports organised play, club development, player participation and community engagement, helping venues build a thriving pickleball environment.
