Swimming at Leyton Leisure Centre
Swimming is a great way to have fun and get healthy, whatever your age or level of ability. Whether you want to improve your technique, get fit, meet new friends, compete or have fun, you're sure to find a pool session that you'll love.
At Leyton Leisure Centre we have a variety of pools. The main leisure pool is a 25m 4 lane pool with fun water features. With a maximum depth of 1.3m this pool is perfect for fitness swimming, swimming lessons and families.
We also have a smaller teaching pool for little ones and families as well as our swimming lessons.
Our Aqua Play pool is for children up to 8 years old and their parents. This pool is a splash pool with water slides, fun features and tipping buckets.
Lastly the Flume is for the thrill-seekers among us. A fast and fun tube slide available on weekends and school holidays, check the timetable for opening times. Users must be over 1 meter tall to ride.
As part of the Waltham Forest Council-funded initiative, we offer young residents (under 18) free swimming during school holidays (Junior Pay As You Go membership required). This offer is extended to residents of Waltham Forest 60+, Armed Forces staff and People with a Disability during off-peak times, 9am-4pm on weekdays and after 1pm on weekends (Pay As You Go membership required).
