POOL 1

Pool 1 at Abraham Moss Leisure Centre is heated to 28 degrees, has six lanes and is 25m long by 12.5m wide. With depths ranging from 1.0m at the shallow end to 1.8m at the deep end. We run a variety of sessions each and every week.

The swimming pool is served by a village changing room with a number of  changing cabins including three family changing areas including baby change tables. There are lockers within to keep your belongings safe whilst you swim, and take a £1 coin or a trolley token which can be purchased from reception.

Access to the pool is via gradual steps and hand rail by the shallow end or a Pool Pod for those unable to access via the steps. The centre is also proud to host a changing places room with bed, hoist and adapted shower and toilet facilities. For more information on Pool Pod, follow the link below.

Pool 2 at Abraham Moss Leisure Centre is heated to 29 degrees and is four lanes wide at 18m Long and 8m wide. With depths ranging from 0.9m at the shallow end to 1.2m at the deeper end. We run a variety of sessions each and every week.

The swimming pool is served by a village changing room with a number of changing cabins and three family changing areas including baby change tables. There are lockers within to keep your belongings safe whilst you swim, and take a £1 coin or a trolley token which you can purchase from reception.

Access to the pool is via gradient steps and handrail by the shallow end or a Pool Pod for those unable to access by via the steps. If you need to make use of the Pool Pod please inform a member of staff on arrival who can ensure this is all set up for you.

AQUA SPLASH INFLATABLE!

Brand new to Abraham Moss Leisure Centre!

Come and try the NEW Aqua Splash inflatable sessions, run, dodge and duck through our exciting obstacle course. Race your friends and see who will come out on top! 

To attend this session, you must be aged 8 years or over. All attendees aged 15 and under will be required to wear a life jacket, which will be provided by the centre. 

Sessions will take place as follows:

  • Saturday: 13:45 - 14:45

Prices:

  • Adult: £7.05
  • Junior: £7.05

Are you brave enough to take on our assault course? With a range of obstacles to climb, duck and dodge it's the ultimate challenge! Why not take on a friend and see who can finish the assault course first! 

To attend this session you must be 8 years or older. All attendees aged 15 and under are required to wear a life jacket.

Swim For Fitness

Lane Swimming to suit all speeds to ensure you get the most out of your swim.

Competent lane swimmers over the age of 11 are allowed to book Swim For Fitness sessions.

Swimmers aged 11-15 should be competent swimmers of a club standard. If not, they need to be accompanied by a competent swimmer aged 16+.

A general Swim Session for parents/carers with children aged 5 or under.

Inclusive Swim 

A general swim for people with any disability for all ages and abilities for fun and fitness.

OVER 60'S SWIM

Did you know Manchester residents aged 60+ are eligible for our free swimming scheme? That's right! Registering for the MCRactive card enables you to swim for free in swim for fitness, swim for all, swim for women and swim for senior sessions at Abraham Moss Library & Leisure Centre.

FREE SWIMMING FOR AGES 16 AND UNDER

Did you know that Manchester residents aged 16 and under are eligible to receive free swimming during selected sessions on weekends and during each and every school holiday?

To be eligible, the young person needs to be registered and have a qualifying MCRactive card. This can be signed up to online, or in person at the centre.
