Birthday Parties

We understand that plans can sometimes change. Please note that all cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to: LinkBirthdayParties@gll.org

• Cancellations with more than 28 days’ notice: 
  You'll receive a full refund. 
• Cancellations with 27–14 days’ notice: 
  Subject to an administration fee and eligible for a 50% refund. 
• Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice: 
  No refund will be issued, although exceptional circumstances may be considered at management’s discretion.

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, all guests must follow the Centre Rules displayed throughout the facility and comply with any instructions given by staff at all times.

Food & Drink

As food is ordered in advance from our catering partner, we are unable to provide additional food on the day of the party. All party food orders must be confirmed by email at least 14 days before the party date, and no later than the deadline stated in your booking confirmation email (sent from LinkBirthdayParties@gll.org).

We do not supply birthday cakes, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please note we do not have a fridge for storage or provide knives for cutting. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises.

Booking Times

Please ensure all guests are aware of your allocated party times. We are unable to extend or amend bookings on the day.

Party Host

Your Party Host will:

• Meet the group on arrival and prepare participants for the session.
• Escort the group onto the activity area and explain each activity zone.
• Meet the group at the end of the session at the agreed meeting point and escort them to the party room for food.

Please note: The Party Host does not remain with the group during the activity session and does not provide entertainment.

Party Room

Access to the party room is available no earlier than 10 minutes before your booking start time and for up to 45 minutes after the activity session ends.

We do not provide decorations; however, you are welcome to bring your own. Pins and tape must not be used on the party room walls. Blue tack may be used instead.

Emergency Contact Information

The party organiser (hirer) must hold up-to-date emergency contact details for the parents or guardians of all children attending the party.

Personal Belongings

We cannot accept responsibility for the loss, damage, or theft of personal items. Please do not leave belongings unattended and avoid bringing valuables to the Centre. Lockers are available and require a £1 coin/token, which is refundable.

Photography & Filming

Photography and video recording within the party area by parents or guardians is permitted only with prior approval from the General Manager.

Arrival & Session Overview

Please ensure your guests arrive up to 10-15 minutes before your allocated party time to allow for the collection of trampoline socks and wristbands.

Your party will take place during a General Jump session and lasts for 1 hour, which includes:

• A 15-minute safety briefing
• 45 minutes of trampoline time

Age & Supervision Requirements

Trampoline parties are suitable for children aged 5 years and over. Supervision ratios apply for children under 8.

Children aged 5-7:

• must be accompanied by a bouncing adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 10 children
• One supervising adult ticket will be included in your party
• Any additional adults wishing to bounce must purchase a standard ticket for the session. We strongly recommend booking and paying online in advance to guarantee availability

Children under 5:

• must be accompanied by a bouncing adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children
• Each supervising adult must book and pay for their own ticket due to limited session capacity
• You must inform us in advance if any children under 5 will be attending. Children under 5 may be refused entry if not notified

Trampoline Waiver

The Administrator will send you a copy of the General Rules (Trampoline Waiver). The hirer must complete this document with all participants details and bring it on the day of the party to hand to a member of the Trampoline Park team.

Trampoline Park Safety Rules

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, all participants must follow these rules:

• Better trampoline socks must be worn when jumping.
• Be mindful and considerate of other jumpers. Do not distract or interrupt others whilst jumping.
• No food or drink in the activity area. Sports style water bottles are allowed.
• No lying down or sitting on trampolines.
• Do not grab any safety pads or safety netting.
• Do not jump or land on the coloured padding.
• Only single flips are permitted. Flips across pads or bed to bed are not allowed.
• No double bouncing (bouncing someone else higher).
• Only one jumper on each trampoline at a time.
• Always land on two feet or your seat.
• No wrestling, racing, tackling or horseplay.
• Do not operate mobile phones, cameras, or similar equipment on trampolines.
• Please wear appropriate clothing; no buckles or studs and we advise you to remove all jewellery. Remove objects from your pockets before jumping.
• The maximum weight permitted for the trampoline park is 21 Stone/133kg. Please note that some features have a lower weight limit and this restriction is highlighted on the entry to the feature.

Arrival & Session Overview

The party will take place during a Public Skating session and includes 1 hour on the ice.

Please ensure your guests arrive up to 10-15 minutes before your allocated party time to allow for the collection of skates, skate fitting and wristband collection.

Skate hire is available from children's size 5 to adult size 13.

If your party includes a skating lesson, it will take place during the first 30 minutes of the session. The instructor will remain on the ice after the lesson.

Skate Safely Rules

All customers must abide by the general centre and ice rink rules. It is a condition of booking that the following Skate Safely Admission Rules are adhere to.

• Parents and guardians of under 8’s and inexperienced skaters under 1.2 metres must be advised of the safety benefits of hiring skating aids, and under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult skater.
• Wear suitable clothing relating to the cold environment. Gloves are advised to reduce hand injuries. No bags or loose clothing to be worn on the ice.
• Do not speed on the ice, skate in an anti-clockwise direction and do not cut across the ice.
• No kicking, digging holes, scraping or stomping the ice with your blades. No chains or linked skaters.
• No recording or photographic equipment is permitted unless authorised by the Manager.
• No headphones/phones on the ice as this inhibit hearing and awareness.

Your party will take place during a general Soft Play session and includes 1 hour in the Soft Play area.

The Soft Play area is not suitable for children over 10 years old. The dedicated Toddler Zone is restricted to children aged 4 and under.

It is the responsibility of accompanying parents or guardians to ensure children use age-appropriate areas at all times.

Children under 8 years old are not allowed to be left unaccompanied and remain the responsibility of the guardian at all times whilst using the centre.

If you've booked an Exclusive Hire of the Soft Play party, you're welcome to bring your own food or order pizzas or sandwich platters through our catering partner (please note: this is not included in the party price).

For all other party packages, self-catering is not permitted. The packages include an activity session, a party room, and party food, and we’re unable to offer a reduced price if you choose not to have the food provided.

If any of your guests have dietary requirements or allergies, please let our team know at the time of booking so we can accommodate them where possible.

You're more than welcome to bring your own birthday cake and additional snacks. However, please note:

• We’re unable to provide a fridge to store cakes.
• Please bring your own cake knife and lighter or matches to light candles, as we cannot supply these items.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Once you’ve placed your booking online, our team will contact you within 72 hours to confirm any additional children you’d like to include (up to a maximum of 18 children in total -or 12 for Ice Skating Parties With Lesson). It’s important to let us know about any extra children at least 14 days before your party. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate late additions.

Please note:
It’s not possible to pay for extra guests online. Once your additional guests are confirmed with our Party Supervisor, you can make payment in one of two ways:

• Over the phone – Our team will give you a call to arrange card payment. (Please note that our incoming calls are redirected to our Customer Services team, so we’ll be the ones reaching out to you.)
• In person – Visit us at the centre to pay at reception. (We're a cashless facility and only accept card payments.)

To help us process your request quickly, please include the following details: your Full Name, your Order Number (if available), or the Email Address used to place the booking.

Apart from Exclusive Hires, your party will include a choice of hot or cold food options, provided by our catering partner Franklin's. 

Menu choice will have to be confirmed with the Party Administrator by email to LinkBirthdayParties@gll.org after online booking has been made, and no later than 14 days prior the date of the booking. 

If we do not hear from you regarding your preferred options, we'll order by default a menu consisting of cold cheese sandwich and vanilla ice cream. If extra children have not been added to the party before the cut-off period, we regret we won't be able to add last minute food orders.

Menu:

All menus include a vanilla ice cream pot or ice lolly, unlimited squash and water.

Hot food option consists of 1/2 pizza (4 slices) per child. Each child can choose their preferred topping from:

• pepperoni
• margarita

Cold food option consists of a sandwich + a small snack (fruit/yogurt/crisps). Each child can choose their preferred filling from:

• ham
• cheese
• ham & cheese

It is important you let us know of any allergies/dietary requirements so we can inform our catering partner. We regret we're unable to modify pizzas to suit dietary requirements but can make sandwich boxes gluten/dairy free. (Replacement options can be: vegan/dairy-free butter, vegan/dairy-free cheese or jam. Yoghurt can be replaced by vegan/dairy-free jelly.)

DOWNLOAD MENU

We do not provide decorations and customers are welcome to bring their own.

Pins and tape are not allowed to be used on the party rooms’ walls, but blue tack can be used instead.

Please refrain from using confetti’s party poppers or piñatas.

We do not provide entertainment. Your party host will welcome your group and escort them around the facilities, and from the activity area to their party room.

Your host and party room will not be available any earlier than 10 minutes prior to the time of your booking.

We regret we are not able to offer multi-activity parties.

Party rooms are not available to book outside of Better Birthday Party packages.

Likewise, we do not provide a private area (party room or else) for parties to take place outside of our party packages offer.

We regret we're unable to provide a room for VR parties booked with Active Realities.

Our sessions tickets for General Jump, Soft Play and Public Ice Skating, are available to book online and in centre from 14 days prior, from the time of the session. We regret we're unable to accommodate bookings any earlier.
