York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust delivers a range of specialist outpatient services in high quality modern accessible premises.
The York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has use of the Stadium hospitality areas for staff training and development activities. These areas are a hub for learning and development, including collaborative work with partner organisations in the fields of health promotion/education and wellbeing.
The use by the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust of the Stadium for these purposes is a national first, creating a true community stadium for York.
Blood Testing is open 8-5pm Monday to Friday, no appointments required.
York Against Cancer, a locally based charity, occupy a retail unit, office and meeting space in the hub. Their inclusion allows them to expand their current organisation and helps increase awareness for the projects they currently fund, which include cancer care, research, education and information.
York Against Cancer is an established local charity who raise money to help and support cancer patients and their families living with cancer and the effects of cancer, in the York and surrounding area.
Moving to the Community Hub will be the start of a new phase of its development, which will have a positive affect and put its name in front of many more people, in turn allowing the charity to expand its support to additional worthwhile projects and help increase awareness for the projects they currently fund, which include cancer care, research, education and information.
Both York City FC and York City Knights RLFC operate their community foundations out of the Community Hub within large modern office spaces.
Both foundations have the vision of ‘Inspiring Communities and Changing Lives across York and North Yorkshire’, with the aim to support the local community by providing sport and physical activity, educational, social and healthy lifestyle opportunities.
The new library area provides a new type of library aimed at accessing new users & groups, allowing users to access books, IT equipment, free Wi-Fi and a range of learning activities.
