Bromley Central Library Closure
To prepare for the move of Bromley Central Library, Archive and Museum to its new home at 145 High Street later this year, the Central library will close to the public on Tuesday 30th June 2026 at 7pm.  

Throughout the summer our library will be on their summer holidays, touring the locations in the town centre and providing access to books and activities. 

Activities for Adults:
At Greener and Cleaner in the Glades Shopping Centre Thursdays from 2nd July 
• Chat-a-cups coffee morning, every Thursday from 10.30am-11.30am 
• Appy Hour device support sessions, every other Thursday from 11am-12pm

Activities for Children:
At Pavillion Leisure Centre. Monday 20th July-29th August, open Monday to Saturday 9.30am-12.30pm
• Books for browsing and borrowing for families and children 
• Returning items 
• Sign up for the summer reading challenge 
•  Activities for children throughout the summer
