Kieran Blake is a London based poet and Author of international seller - 'You can't have your cake and eat it' ,'The Mentor' and 'Multifaceted'. Multifaceted is a collection of verses that seek to illuminate the Black British experience in all its beauty, complexity and depth. Kieran will be reading from his collection and speaking to South East London legend Rasheeda Page-Muir.
Rasheeda Page-Muir has a multifaceted portfolio as a poet, facilitator, public speaker, writer, and award-winning community organiser hailing from Woolwich. With an impressive background in founding and directing the esteemed youth organisation, RevolYOUtion London, Rasheeda boasts over a decade of experience in guiding thought-provoking international social and political debates for young minds in the South East London area.
Having graced the prestigious TED X stage not once but twice, Rasheeda is a true intellectual powerhouse. Whilst studying at the School of Oriental and African Studies, in recognition of her exceptional activism, Rasheeda was bestowed with the SOAS Social Activist of the Year Award in 2018, whilst graduating with first-class honours in Politics and Social Anthropology
