Black and white and colour printing is available for a small fee. Print in A4 or A3 from our computers or your own laptop.
Room hire
At Balham Library we have meeting spaces, and other rooms for hire for both personal and professional use.
Study space
Whether you're studying or working, find desks, quiet areas and dedicated study spaces at Balham Library.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library. You can log in on your phone, tablet or laptop.
Computers
Equipped with Wi-Fi and Microsoft Office, find free-to-use computers at your local library.
Enquiry desk
Our enquiry desk is staffed during opening hours to ensure you get the support you need while using the library.
Quiet area
In our quiet areas, please switch off your mobile or turn it to silent and speak quietly, being mindful of other visitors
Toilets and baby changing
Male and female toilets on the ground floor. Baby changing available.
Workspaces at Balham Library
Whether you need a desk or a whole meeting room, we have plenty of workspaces at Balham Library.
We have desks and quiet study spaces that are free for everyone to use. They're available on a first come, first served basis.
If you need more room, we also have a meeting space for hire for up to 100 people. Meeting space hire is available for a fee during the evenings or on days when the library is closed to the public. Minimum hire time is two hours and we'll provide tables and chairs.
