Printing

Black and white and colour printing is available for a small fee. Print in A4 or A3 from our computers or your own laptop.

Study space

Whether you're studying or working, find desks, quiet areas and dedicated study spaces at Skegness Library. 

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library. You can log in on your phone, tablet or laptop. 

Quiet area

In our quiet areas, please switch off your mobile or turn it to silent and speak quietly, being mindful of other visitors

Local Studies

We have a range of local studies resources for reference use covering the history of Skegness and the surrounding area. Our collection includes:
  • Books: A selection of books relating to the history of Skegness and the surrounding area including Skegness in the Fifties and Skegness at War.
  • Directories: A selection of Kellys and Whites directories dating from 1856-1937. 
  • Newspapers on Microfilm: Skegness Herald 1882-1916, Skegness Extra 1987-1990, Skegness Standard July 1922-December 2019, Skegness News 1909-1964, Lincolnshire Standard Horncastle, Alford and Spilsby Edition 1912-1915. A Microfilm Reader is available to use. To book the Reader or check whether the year you want is available, please contact the team direct. 
  • Illustrations: A collection of photographs featuring Skegness and the surrounding area dating the 1890s to the 1980s.
