What's available at New Barnet Leisure Centre

Cardio Zone

If cardio is your thing, the Cardio Zone has plenty to offer. There are 14 treadmills, skill mills, bikes, cross trainers, and rowing machines, many with views over the park. You can go steady or push the pace. Our team are nearby if you’d like a hand getting started.

Strength Zone

The strength and free weights area is set up with dumbbells from 2 to 40kg, adjustable benches, and plate-loaded equipment such as squat racks and smith machines. It’s a good space to build strength or work on muscle tone, whether you’re new to lifting or more experienced.

Functional Zone

In the functional zone, you can change up your routine using kettlebells, battle ropes, and foam rollers. This area suits bodyweight training, circuits, and mobility work. It’s a relaxed space where you can try different ways of training and build confidence as you go.

Resistance Zone

The resistance zone includes 17 Technogym machines that target all the main muscle groups. These machines make exercises clear and easy, helping you focus on good form and steady progress. Our staff are on hand to support you and help keep your workouts safe.
