Described as a ‘Hidden gem’ by BBC Radio Lincolnshire, the Terry O’Toole Theatre is proud to be North Kesteven’s only professional performing arts venue, welcoming residents from across the district and the greater Lincoln area.

The Terry O’Toole Theatre is located at the heart of North Hykeham, within the ONE NK Centre. Our programme features a wide range of events and performances, ranging from local antique valuation days to popular tribute bands, film screenings, local Dance and Youth Theatre shows and traditional community events. The theatre

The theatre offers a newly refurbished, intimate auditorium, seating up to 200. The stage, which is at floor level, is a ‘black box’ studio theatre, with a full curtain set, drop-in cyclorama backcloth and a cinema quality screen and projector. Our auditorium, greenroom and backstage areas are all fully accessible; with a changing place, accessible dressing room and accessible toilet facilities all located within a few metres of the stage. The auditorium has a hearing induction loop installed and we also have 4 portable hearing assist packs available upon request.

The theatre is available for ‘dry’ hire, or our in-house team can support your event or performance with both technical and practical assistance, using our in-house sound, lighting and projection technology.

How to get here

By public transport:


BUS:
Local bus routes from Lincoln are:
Bus 15 up to 6pm only – ask for the ONE NK Centre stop, which is directly opposite the theatre / ONE NK carpark.
Bus 16 throughout the day and up to 9.47pm latest. Ask for the Hykeham crossroads stop.


TRAIN:
Request stop at North Hykeham station, with a 10 minute walk to the theatre along Station Road

The Terry O’Toole Theatre at ONE NK has a large, FREE carpark, with dedicated parking spaces for blue badge holders and 2 electric car charging points.
