Whether you are a first timer or regular user, the 35 stationed gym at Forest Hill Pools has the most up to date Life Fitness Equipment, including inclusive models.
Our friendly fitness instructors are on hand to guide you through your workout and offer advice if required.
Your gym induction starts with a 1-2-1 chat with one of our qualified Fitness Instructors, who will help tailor a bespoke gym programme based on your specific goals and giving you better results. As well as introducing you to our range of equipment and machines to make you feel comfortable. Our gym floor is always staffed and our fitness instructors are happy to help you with any queries or support.
Our refocus sessions are developed specially to refresh your workout programme every 6 weeks so you get the most out of your workouts. Our Fitness Instructors will work with you to design a dedicated programme to suit your fitness goals, ability and what you want to achieve.
Our dedicated Junior sessions offer 11-17 year olds the chance to enjoy the gym with specialised guidance from our experienced fitness instructors.
Juniors will have access to gym equipment including:
- Bikes, Treadmills and Cross-Trainers
- Group Cycle classes And much more!
Staff will be present to supervise and assist juniors how to use the equipment safely, with the use of planned exercise programmes.
Junior Gym Inductions:
Mon-Fri 16:30-17:30, Sat-Sun 13:00-14:00.
Junior Gym:
Mon-Fri 15:30-17:30, Sat-Sun 13:00-15:00.
Keep your family active by working out together in our adult and junior gym sessions.
Juniors must be supervised at all times by the adult accompanying them.
Juniors are required to book into this session and must have completed an induction.
Adult and Junior Gym sessions are available to book at reception. Just turn up and a member of our concierge team will be able to book you in.
We want everyone in the London Borough of Lewisham to get active, which is why we offer the Be Active membership to all eligible Lewisham residents.
Whether it is access to our gyms offering dedicated cardio, resistance, functional, strength and stretch zones, or taking a dip in one of Lewisham’s swimming pools; Be Active members benefit from reduced rates and some memberships even offer free pool and gym access.
