October Half Term Junior Activities
October Half Term is almost here and at Kensington Leisure Centre we have a range of activities to keep everyone active.
Holiday Swim Courses
Our daily learn-to-swim lessons are suitable for children 4 years and over. Children will learn essential swimming skills to ensure they understand how to be safe in and around water. These courses are available for beginners to the most advanced swimmers.
Our ‘Swim for All’ sessions are perfect if you’re looking to swim with your family & friends, build on your water confidence, work on newly developed strokes or float your stresses away. ‘Swim for All’ is suitable for all ages, occurring in our Main Pool, Teaching Pool and Learner Pool.
For those who prefer getting sporty on dry land, Kensington Leisure Centre are offering Give It Your Max mini-tennis camps. Why not pick up a racket and get active with tennis during the holidays. these camps are for ages 5-11 years.
Camp 1 Monday 23rd October 10am-12pm
Camp 2 Monday 23rd October 1pm-3pm
Bookings need to be made by Wednesday 18th October at 11am
Booking is required for the mini-tennis sessions, simply click on the Register button with your child’s name, date of birth, parent/guardian contact number, and what camp(s) you would like to attend to secure a place.
JUNIOR GYM
A dedicated time and space for all juniors to have their essential gym workouts.
Our Fitness instructors will be on hand to give 11-17-year-olds advice or a training programme to designed meet their individual goals, including learning how to use cardiovascular and strength equipment.
During school holidays our junior gym times are:
Monday to Friday | 11am-3pm & 4-6pm |
Weekends | 12-4pm |
SOFT PLAY
Our Soft Play is now open! Children aged 10 or under can run, jump, crawl, slide and explore the brand-new two-tier soft play with their friends. Bookings are available via our website and the BETTER UK App or you can pop anytime!
