Here at Ulverson Leisure Centre we have a fantastic 25 metre x four lane swimming pool. Our ultra violet light cleaning technology ensures that you will make a splash and enjoy a clean and safe swim every time you visit.
Ulverston Leisure Centre has an impressive and modern fitness gym, refurbished and extended in 2014, boasting a variety of the very latest gym equipment. Now almost twice the orginally size, the gym has 36 pieces of equipment including a selection of cross trainers, treadmills, rowing machines, bikes and more; plus a selection of resistance equipment and a free weights area.
We aim to create a community feel at the centre which makes our gym a very welcoming and relaxed place to work out, whatever your fitness ability, age or fitness objectives. The team prides itself on being welcoming, knowledgeable and professional to make your workout experience the best it can possibly be.
Ulverston Leisure Centre is proud to offer Cumbria's largest indoor and outdoor tennis venue boasting unrivalled court facilities, junior tennis development, tennis tournaments, events and much more all year round. Our qualified LTA professional tennis coaches offer a range of coaching options to suit all ages and abilities, as well as supervising sessions such as ladies only and social tennis.
We have four indoor acrylic courts and two floodlit outdoor synthetic grass courts – all of which are available to hire on a casual basis. So, whatever the weather, rain rarely stops play here at the tennis centre.
New for 2015! Badminton courts are available to hire at Ulverston every day during the day time and all weekend.
Situated alongside our tennis centre, the outdoor complex here at Ulverston has a full sized, floodlit all-weather astroturf pitch. This is a fantastic playing surface for hockey, football, rugby training and much more…
