Miss B Breaks Records!

Bethan runs our gymnastics programme across Allerdale including, Cockermouth Leisure Centre, Workington Leisure Centre & The Wave Centre at Maryport, teaching over 600 young aspiring gymnasts every week.

In her spare time Bethan carries on the sporting trend and competes at an international level. She is the British national hammer throw, shot put and discus champion at Lee Valley. Bethan is also the Northern champion in shot put, discus and hammer throw at Manchester.

This August, Bethan headed to Birmingham where she picked up 4 sliver medals, 3 personal bests and 2 Northern Master records. Bethan competed in hammer, discus, shot put, javelin and the weight throw. Her records were in the hammer and the weight throw.

September this year Miss B will be taking a short break from her gymnasts and will be travelling to Jesolo-Venice to compete at the European masters championships. Here, she will be competing in hammer throw, discus shotput, the weight throw and the throwing pentathlon.
