Following the continued success of Better’s social pickleball sessions and the growing demand for the sport across Belfast, Better is delighted to announce two exciting pickleball tournaments taking place on Friday 11th December. The events will celebrate the fantastic pickleball community that has developed across the city, bringing players together for a day of activity, friendly competition and festive fun. With both an advanced and a social tournament available, there is an opportunity for players of all abilities and experience levels to get involved.

Pickleball is a fun, accessible and inclusive sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It provides a fantastic opportunity to stay physically active, develop coordination, improve fitness and learn new skills, all while enjoying a sociable environment. Better currently offers a variety of social pickleball sessions across several centres in Belfast, creating opportunities for individuals to try something new, build confidence and connect with people from different backgrounds. Whether picking up a paddle for the first time or developing existing skills, pickleball offers an enjoyable way to stay active and become part of a welcoming sporting community.
