Library

The new library is significantly bigger than the existing building at East Greenwich, and it will be the third largest in the borough. It will have longer opening hours - doubling the current opening times at East Greenwich Library - and lots more books and new computers for users.

It's been designed as a 'digital hub', with 48 new computers and children’s area with dedicated tablets for children to use. Staff will be on hand to help visitors make the most of the new IT suite, where they will find it easy and more efficient to access council services online.
