At Atherton Leisure Centre, our Swim for All sessions are perfect for all levels and abilities. Whether you’re looking to build your confidence in the water, work on your techniques or simply enjoy a relaxed swim with family and friends. Swim for All sessions are suitable for all ages, in pools across Newham.

Swim for Women & Girls

Here at Atherton Leisure Centre we invest in our women and girls by running dedicated sessions to enjoy swimming in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

Women Only - Fridays 17:00-18:00

Women and Girls - Fridays 15:30-16:30

Junior Gym

At Atherton Leisure Centre we believe in helping all ages stay fit and healthy and that is why we offer Junior Gym sessions for juniors aged 11-17. Juniors are required to book a Junior Gym induction after signing up to the Junior membership and prior to attending their first session.

Soft Play

Our Soft Play at Atherton Leisure Centre is the perfect spot for you child to roam free and explore. Our medium-sized multi-tiered Soft Play comes with a submarine tunnel, rope bridge, various obstacles and two wavy slides. The Soft Play encourages children to engage in active play and interact with other children in a fun and safe environment.

Intensive Swimming Crash Course

Help your child learn to swim with our Intensive Swimming Crash Course. These daily 30-minute lessons are designed to build water confidence and enhance swimming skills quickly.

We offer sessions for complete beginners as well as refresher classes for those already enrolled in Better's Swim School.
