Playing badminton is a great way to have fun and stay healthy, whatever your age or level of ability.  At Walthamstow Leisure Centre, our sports hall has six badminton courts ready and available to book. For any potential beginners fear not, we also provide racquet hire and shuttlecocks to purchase at reception, so there's no excuse to not book a court today and give it a whack!

All additional players/spectors now taking part in the session must now on book their entry via the better UK app additional player.

We have limited each booking to the maximum of 6 players or spectors per court booking to prevent overcrowding in the sports hall. 

 

 

Badminton Social Club

Looking for a fun, social way to stay active? Our Social Badminton Club is the perfect way to meet new people and keep fit, all in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Sessions are facilitated by a trained Sports Activator, who’s there to support all abilities, pair up players, and keep the games running smoothly – whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or have years of experience.

Booking a Badminton court is quick and easy. Reserve your spot online or via the Better UK app – or visit your local centre to book in person.

We recommend booking online for the best experience, courts can be booked up to 7 days in advance.

Badminton Drop-In Sessions

Want to play Badminton at your own pace? Our Drop-In sessions are a great way to get on court, practise your skills, and enjoy the game in a relaxed, informal setting.

These sessions are not facilitated, so players are free to organise games themselves – perfect for those who already know the basics or want a more flexible, casual experience.
