Following the success of our recent adapted climbing sessions, the Indoor Tennis Centre and Ozone Complex are delighted to offer a further three-week programme, providing people with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy climbing in a welcoming, accessible and inclusive environment.

The programme consists of three weekly, one-hour sessions, taking place from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on the following dates:

Friday 27th November
Friday 4th December
Friday 11th December

All sessions will take place at the Indoor Tennis Centre and Ozone Complex in Ormeau Park and will be delivered by trained instructors experienced in adaptive sports, in partnership with Mountaineering Ireland.

Suitable for individuals with physical, sensory or cognitive disabilities, the sessions are designed to make climbing accessible to everyone. Participants will have access to specialist adaptive equipment, including harnesses, hoists and tactile route markers, alongside modifications to the climbing wall to support accessibility without compromising the challenge and enjoyment of the activity.

With personalised support provided throughout, participants can develop confidence, strength and coordination while enjoying a fun and rewarding experience. The programme also offers a great opportunity to meet others, build social connections and celebrate personal achievements in a safe and supportive environment.
