What is a free junior play card?

School children registered for free school meals in Cumbria aged between 11 and 16 years old may be eligible for a free junior pay and play activity card. The card has been funded by the holiday activities and food funding provided by Cumbria County Council. The card offers both free and discounted activities at our participating centres in Cumbria including swimming, gym sessions, football, pool fun sessions and much more.

When are the free sessions?

Swimming and Gym sessions are free to Play Card Holders between 11-3pm from the 2nd - 31st August 2021 with the provision of a free takeaway packed lunch when booking in advance.

How to apply for your card:

Cards can be applied for in participating centres or alternatively email your preferred centre and a member of the team will assist in your application. Spaces are limited so will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
